Founder & Director, Grassroots Gravel

Adam Davidson is a cyclist and community organizer who has spent over two decades making the outdoors feel like it belongs to everyone. He is the founder and director of Grassroots Gravel in Pueblo, Colorado, a world-class gravel event built on the belief that every flavor of human and every type of bicycle belongs at the start line. Davidson's path to founding Grassroots Gravel includes building grassroots rides, festivals, races, and workshops in Greeley, CO, co-developing a community-driven bicycle and compost program in Flagstaff, AZ, and playing a key role in protecting and improving access to the trails at Lake Pueblo State Park in Pueblo, CO. His work has always centered on cycling as a tool for wellness, belonging, and self-sufficiency. Through free repair skills workshops, Davidson has partnered with the city, local bike experts, and the Boys and Girls Club of Pueblo to give people genuine autonomy on the bike, and his International Bicycle Flat Tire World Series travels to major events nationwide, making repair skills joyful and accessible to all.At Outside Days, he'll explore how access to cycling and the skills and community that come with it can transform daily life, mental health, and physical wellbeing for people who've never seen themselves in the sport.
