Erick Cedeño is an explorer, historian, storyteller, and cyclist who is passionate about nature and uncovering stories that inspire curiosity, resilience, and a deeper appreciation for the outdoors. Known as “Bicycle Nomad,” Erick has spent years traveling across the U.S. and beyond, using cycling as a way to connect with people, history, and the outdoors. He is especially known for retracing historic routes, including the Underground Railroad journey from New Orleans to Niagara Falls and the 1,900-mile route of the 1897 Buffalo Soldiers Bicycle Corps. Erick is a member of The Explorers Club and was inducted into the 2022 EC50 class - a group of 50 individuals recognized by The Explorers Club for doing remarkable work to promote science and exploration. As a Fjällräven Brand Ambassador, Erick embodies the brand’s mission to enable and inspire more people to spend time in nature. Whether he's bikepacking across remote landscapes, sharing lessons from life on the road, or encouraging others to step out of their comfort zones, Erick brings a thoughtful and inspiring perspective to the outdoor community.
