Erin Melissa Dawicki

Erin Dawicki is a clinical expert, entrepreneur, and the visionary behind LymeAlert. She has held teaching and clinical roles at Boston Children’s Hospital, Tufts University School of Medicine, and in private practice. Leveraging nearly two decades of medical experience as a Physician Associate, Dawicki pivoted to academia to bridge gaps in patient care. As a MIT Sloan Fellow, she developed the first at-home tick testing kit designed for the rapid, early detection of Borrelia burgdorferi, the pathogen that can cause Lyme disease. Erin has also been named a 2026 Presidential Leadership Scholar. She is a member of Embark by REI's Path Ahead Ventures, Creative Destruction Labs' Atlantic Prime Cohort, the Harvard Innovation Labs Climate Circle, and is an alumna of MIT delta v. Through her work, she is dedicated to revolutionizing the early detection of tick-borne illnesses and healthcare accessibility.
