Hannes Wingate

Hannes Wingate is an artist, teacher, and wilderness guide operating in the critical breach between Culture and Nature. His work is fundamentally concerned with deep ecology, belonging and survival. From his feral childhood in Sweden his work has taken him across continents and cultures most recently leading a pilgrimage with the Wixarika in Northern Mexico. His work has been exhibited and published internationally.
