Perry Tancredi

Head Instructor, Deputy Director, Boulder Outdoor Survival School

Perry Tancredi is a Head Instructor and Deputy Director of the Boulder Outdoor Survival School, where he has worked for over a decade after first taking a course as a student in 2010 — originally just looking for a vacation where email, phone calls, and text messages couldn't reach him. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a focus on animal behavior and environmental ecology, and has lived and worked abroad while traveling extensively across dozens of countries. His favorite part of the job remains in the field, waking before sunrise to guide students through transformative experiences in the high Utah desert. Perry also consults for IT and software companies, but given the choice, he'd rather be outside.
