Wade Balmer

Wade Balmer serves as Senior Manager of Internal Communications & Community at The North Face. In this role, he focuses on connecting employees to brand storytelling and purpose, strengthening global internal communications, and building meaningful relationships between the brand and the communities it serves. With a career spanning more than two decades, Balmer brings deep expertise in storytelling, non-profit partnership development, and aligning organizations with authentic engagement. Having grown up with a disability since age five, Balmer is a passionate advocate for adaptive communities. He has dedicated much of his career to advancing access and outreach to marginalized communities. Balmer worked in the non-profit public health space for 15 years, served as the Chair of the Denver Mayor’s Commission for People with Disabilities and more recently serves as the Development Director for the Adaptive Climbers Festival.
