Lisa Nelson is a global strategic and technology leader with 30 years of experience across technology, software, and financial services, partnering with organizations ranging from early-stage, high-growth startups to global brands. She brings a builder’s mindset and an operator’s discipline to companies navigating growth, innovation, and impact. Lisa currently serves as an independent board director and strategic advisor to companies across the outdoor, consumer, sports, and technology sectors (including Brooks Running) and advises venture capital funds worldwide (including REI’s Path Ahead Ventures). She is also an angel investor in several female-founded startups. Previously, Lisa co-founded and served as Managing Director of Microsoft’s first venture fund, M12, and held executive finance and business development roles during her tenure at Microsoft.
