Clint Pumphrey is the Outdoor Recreation Archive (ORA) Curator and Program Chair for Archives Outreach & Instruction at Utah State University (USU) in Logan, Utah. The ORA brings together thousands of catalogs, magazines, newsletters, photographs, and other materials that document the history of the outdoor industry in the United States. Previously, he was employed as the National Register Historian for the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program after earning a master’s degree in history from USU. Clint lives with his wife and son in an 1890 farmhouse, which serves as a base camp for hikes, snowshoe treks, and trail runs.
