Ross James is a versatile musician and multi-instrumentalist based in the Denver area, renowned for his skills as a guitarist, bassist, pedal-steel guitarist, and singer/songwriter. From 2012-2024, he was a key collaborator with Phil Lesh and has graced the stage alongside music legends such as Bob Weir, John Scofield, Dave Schools, Warren Haynes, Jim James, Stanley Jordan, and John Mayer. Ross's diverse musical journey spans genres from folk and bluegrass to rock, metal, and beyond. He has performed with notable artists like Billy Strings and Molly Tuttle, as well as the instrumental rock band Earthless. Currently, he plays regularly with The Terrapin Family Band, continuing to push the boundaries of his craft.Ross met Chris at the premiere of Mountains of the Moon and is so excited to get to be part of this very special screening in Denver. He's assembled an all star band featuring guitar master Tyler Grant, fellow Terrapin Family Band member Alex Koford & jam band stalwart Bill McKay.
